Your Grand Expedition: The Itinerary
- Hotel Pickup: At approximately 1:00 AM, you will be comfortably picked up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and driven in an air-conditioned vehicle to Nuweibaa harbor.
- Ferry to Aqaba: Board a comfortable ferry from Nuweibaa harbor, crossing the beautiful Red Sea to Aqaba, Jordan.
- Arrival in Aqaba: Upon arrival at the Royal Yacht Club in Aqaba, you will be warmly greeted by our representatives and efficiently assisted with all arrival procedures.
- Transfer to Petra: Continue your journey by modern, air-conditioned coach from Aqaba, through the stunning desert landscape, to the magnificent city of Petra.
- Petra City Tour: Your immersive exploration of Petra begins:
- Begin the tour at the comprehensive visitor center, where your guide will provide an overview.
- Pass by fascinating tombs located just outside the main city area, hinting at the wonders to come.
- Enter the Siq, a dramatically narrow, 1-kilometer-long gorge with towering, sculpted cliffs on either side, building anticipation.
- Emerge into the awe-inspiring sight of El Khazneh (The Treasury), Petra’s iconic, intricately carved monument that will leave you breathless.
- Explore Petra’s numerous other carved structures, including ancient temples, elaborate royal tombs, a grand Roman theater, remnants of houses, and sacred burial chambers.
- Return to Aqaba: After an unforgettable exploration of Petra, you will travel comfortably back to Aqaba by coach.
